Gordos Sport Fishing



Isaac Ptacnik began the sport fishing business when he had the idea of creating an office where the people could buy a ticket and go fishing with all the facilities that a fisherman could expect, like, live bait, license, and fishing poles. He sold the tickets at 25 cents a piece in 1953. After the first year he bought his first boat: Gordo I. The year after that he bought his second boat: Gordo II. Gordos now runs a crew of five fishing boats in Ensenada.

Sport Fishing Services



Local Fishing $55 per person
Todos Santos Island, Punta Banda and San Miguel Reef depart at 7 AM and return at 3 PM. includes fishing rod and reel, hooks, sinkers and bait. Seasonal local catches include yellowtail, barracuda, halibut, whitefish, white seabass, calico bass, ling cod, bonito and rock cod.

Long Rang (Tuna) Fishing $135 per person
Departs at 1 AM and return at 6 PM.
