| 4TH ANNUAL BAJA ROSARIO FESTIVAL

A cultural festival celebrating the founding of of the first Dominican mission, Nuestra Seņora del Rosario de Viņadaco, by Friar Vicente Mora in July of 1774. The three-day event features rodeos, horse races, nightly dances with live music, a beauty pageant, carnival rides, regional foods, an art exposition and tours of mission sites, museums and other local points of interest. Festivities begin on Friday afternoon and continue through Sunday night.
